A picture paints a thousand words

I'm not really a big fan of the Daily Mail, nor am I really a big fan of Jamie Oliver, but I did see this article appear recently on line which gave me pause for thought.

It relates to a documentary Jamie is doing about the bad diet in British (and by definition American) life.

Reading through it, it hits all the right notes about obesity being bad, about the effects of a bad diet, about body fat and being obese/morbidly obese etc., but nothing can take away from the fact that seeing a 25 stone man laying there with a heart twice the size of normal - to try and force the blood through his narrow clogged veins - and organs distorted and shifted so much by problems of having to deal with so much fat.

They say a picture paints a thousand words.

True.
